Amore Review

After having been to the fairly new cafe in Chapel-En-Le-Frith “Amore”(no current place to leave an actual review) I now have the ability to give the general public an honest review. But please bear in mind that they should be given the benefit of the doubt as when I went they were in the first few weeks of opening. We ordered, at first, our drinks. I elected to have a cup of Earl Grey tea and my colleague, a latte. We were (at least 15 minutes later) presented with one latte and a cup of English breakfast tea presented in the form of Earl Grey. We were, half an hour after that, presented with our food. I had ordered a slice of cheesecake and my colleague, who had ordered a bacon butty but informed us, they did not do them, a panini. My cheesecake was clearly store-bought and decorated as if they had made it. It had also clearly been kept in the fridge for at least 3 days prior. My colleague was given a warmish panini with a very thin slice of ham and some mushy vegetables inside. The wait-staff then proceeded to push salt and pepper onto my colleague, most likely because they knew the food was sub-par. To make matters worse we saw a man presented with a bacon butty as we were eating. We found our food so abhorrent we ordered two soft drinks to wash away the taste. We most certainly will not be going back there and, unless they improve, are going to be run into the ground by other, better cafes in the town.
